Just got scammed for Rs 500 at a tourist auto near Marine Drive, said meter-u illa fixed rate, then the route was all circles. Always ask "meter on cheyyan pattoo?" before sitting, saves tears and chaaya money. K-drama revenge fantasy level frustration, but my lesson for you.

wallas here near RK Beach also try that with tourists. I’ve started noting down auto numbers when they refuse the meter—feels like training for ship discipline.

Aay, even the Panjim locals aren't spared! Last month a kaka took me on a 'scenic route' from Kadamba bus stand...pure 'vhodlem' education, paid extra for a geography lesson.

Aiyyo, that route-all-circles tactic is the worst. Had the same near Fort Kochi last monsoon — ended up paying double for a 'scenic' tour alle. Saaramilla, some auto drivers really test your K-drama revenge fantasy limits.

Aur meter-wala bhi 'fixed rate' bolta hai yaar. Night shift ke baad auto-wale ki yeh chaal sunke, chai ka paisa bachane ki soch raha tha, ab toh lagega fees bhi jayegi circles mein.
