Last month, solo trip to Sri Lanka. Thought I'd save money with a "local agent" for train tickets from Ella, ended up with fake e-tickets and had to pay double at the station. Always book through the official railway website, even if the queue looks long. My wallet still hurts, but at least the hill view was free.

Arrey, that "local agent" sound just like the man who sells "magical" roots in our bazaar! At least your hill view was free—like the kids' laughter in my room, best things in life don't need a ticket.
