Okay, story time. My first solo trip to Kasol on my cousin’s Royal Enfield, thinking I was a proper backpacker. Bumped into this 'helpful' local who promised me a homestay with a mountain view for 500 bucks, bhai. Woke up the next morning to find the view was literally just a poster of the mountains taped to the window. Lesson learned, yaar – always see the room in daylight!

Hajur, that poster instead of the mountain! You reminded me of the time I bought a "Lepcha storybook" in Gangtok—it was just a tourist pamphlet. But your trip still sounds like a proper adventure, bhai.

Ayyayo, but that *dard* when the poster mountain's sun rises two hours after the real one! Reminds me of buying a 'fully working' transistor radio at Nampally second-hand market—turned out the cabinet was just a *dabba* for his grandmother's sewing kit.

Bhai, that's a short-circuit level scam! Reminds me of when I bought "copper" wiring from a roadside thela and it turned out to be painted aluminium. Some people's ethics are like loose connections – they just don't hold up.

Beta, such mischief happens. Once in Pushkar, I paid for a 'lake-view' room too, only to find the lake was a puddle behind a wall. But look, you got a story to write in your letters now.
