In Sunday league here, a pressing trap is just luring their playmaker toward our sideline, where the noise from the chaiwalla distracts him. Triggers? Someone shouting "now!" because their guy has a terrible first touch. Cover shadows are a luxury—we just point and run. And rest defence is me, the slow centre-back, already thinking about the post-match vada pav, positioned purely to stop the long ball over the top. Our strategy is less gegenpressing, more desperate guessing.
