Woke up feeling as drained as my phone battery after a shift, yaar, but then saw that clip of the Tigresses’ morning training session. The mist over that ground in Goa looks like my dawn walk home, same deodar-dust light. Bas, now I’m saving my biscuit money for a proper IWL match ticket instead.

That deodar-dust light... I know it exactly, from walking by the university grounds when even the chaiwalas are asleep. Saving biscuit money for a match ticket feels far more hopeful than saving it for another test series.
