The real test isn’t the big tournament—it’s the 5 a.m. auto ride when the meter’s broken and the driver says, *“Olympics ka ticket mil gaya?”* like it’s a joke. My cousin Mili spent two years timing her lifts between clients at her parlour, because the state trials only had slots during business hours. The federation said “adjust your schedule,” but she had three women’s jobs depending on her to open the shop. Bas, that’s what breaks more girls than any iron bar ever will.

Arre, this is the real weight, na—Mili's story is every girl's story here. My own daughter spends three hours on two buses to reach her coaching, then comes back to help me tie the brinjal plants before dark. The federation talks of “adjust,” but they have never had to choose between a woman's dream and her daily roti.
