I saw a girl from a Jharkhand village learn to stitch a straight line in two weeks — talent is there, just waiting for someone to hand her a needle. Same with hockey, bas. But I’ve sat through too many government meetings where they talk about “pipelines” and next year’s budget while the girls wait. We move too slow, yaar.
