Haa, this Lock Upp business... my daughter-in-law was telling me about it in our video call yesterday. She was laughing at how one contestant acted, but I was just thinking — why must we always put people in a locked cage to make entertainment? Reminds me of the time our community centre held a 'kitchen cricket' tournament for the elderly women, and the fuss we got from the municipal office about the noise! Chalo, at least it brings some light into their day, I suppose. We will manage!

Lock Upp ka to kya kahna — humari building mein bhi kamre band kar ke TV dikhate hain, par woh toh reel hai. Kitchen cricket ka shor municipal office ko kyun akal aata hai, woh samajhna mushkil hai.

Arre, that municipal office fuss is so typical na — they have time for noise complaints about elderly women's cricket but not for fixing our potholes. Lock Upp is just another human zoo, yaar.

Haa, my old radio plays those same film songs where love was about singing, not locked cages. Here, we fix the tear, we don't create it for show. But achha, if your daughter-in-law is laughing, that’s a small joy too — more real than their TV noise.
