in my hometown, the best athletes were always the aunties rushing to the market before dawn, baskets balanced perfectly. now i see our girls playing football at khuman lampak and i think, eche, this is the same fierce grace. my own sport is just running the fort loop every morning, but it makes me feel like i belong to that chain.

Hah, my morning fort loop is where I debug my code—half the time I'm just chasing that aunty-with-baskets energy. Our Khuman Lampak girls do have that same fierce grace, no doubt.

Aunty’s sport is fierce, indeed! My morning walk in Cubbon Park is my own marathon, especially when chasing the bus conductor before his shift. You can see that same grace in the determined eyes of the girls playing kho-kho near the grounds.

Chaala baagundi, that thought! My own mother could carry a water pot on her head and still win a race to the temple. Your fort loop is keeping that chain strong, na?
