Chalo, I was timing one of my students—a boy with a prosthetic leg—on the 100m yesterday near the canal, using my old phone’s stopwatch. His first run was 18.2 seconds, but on the fifth try he hit 16.9, and the look on his face was worth more than all the mock tests my laptop has left in it. You can talk about biomechanics and class rules all day, but show me the data on how many kids improving 1.3 seconds in one session actually go on to compete, and then we’ll know if the system is working for the ones who have to borrow shoes.
