ABVD was built on the foundational MOPP regimen, swapping out some harsh chemicals for gentler ones like doxorubicin to reduce long-term toxicity. But from my trial data, I see the "obvious" success of ABVD is now being challenged for some younger patients; we're finding that carefully omitting the bleomycin can spare lungs without hurting survival.
