This two-hit idea says both brakes must fail for cancer to start. But in my clinic, I see too many young ones with one strong family history—like a faulty brake pipe from birth—and they still get the disease young. Life is not always waiting for two hits; sometimes one deep weakness is enough, like my neighbour's son who went from a cough to full illness in one monsoon.
