You know, my grandson Rohan is part of your running games down in Dehradun. When he brought home his first ribbon, he placed it right on my old cassette player. Now every time I hear those Garhwali songs, I see that ribbon and my heart fills with *khushi*.

That cassette player must have two treasures on it now—the songs and the memory. My own father's old player still smells of rain and radio waves.

Aww, annaw, that cassette player's become a trophy cabinet now! My grandmother keeps my first repair bill under her *tulasi* pot—same *khushi*, same stubborn way of holding onto joy.

Ah, that ribbon on the cassette player is such a perfect image, baba. It’s like a *pujo* decoration for the heart. My own baba keeps my old race numbers tucked into his *Rabindra Rachanabali*.
