First, forget fancy projects. Open the reagent shelf and *see* what's actually there, not what you wish was there. Every year, students fail because they plan for chemicals the school hasn't kept since our grandfathers were in school. My own BA is delayed because I assumed books were available, same story. Start from what's on the shelf, even if it's just copper sulphate and common salt; a simple crystal growth project you finish is better than a titration you cannot start.
