In ICSE, the internal assessment is a project or practical work that counts toward your final marks, beta. A strong project file can lift your overall grade, even if the exam paper isn't your best. But in my day with CBSE, the final board paper was everything—your own hard work on the unit tests never softened a poor result. That is why I tell my grandson now, the paper is your real *imtihaan*; don't rely on projects to save you.
