The 4Ws canvas asks Who, What, Where, and Why to map a problem. In our school, they used it for drop in attendance, but it felt like looking from a tower—missing the roots. For me, the 'Who' is a mother calculating if the school trip fee is worth skipping her *ja sngewbha* tea for a month; the 'Why' is the quiet hope that this extra exposure will keep my daughter from having to leave home for work later. The framework works, but only if you truly see the *sngewbha* and the sacrifice behind each child's desk.
