The Right to Equality sounds good on paper, but practical reality is that prestigious schools have their own standards to uphold—they're above such petty laws. My daughter always gets first preference for school events because we're major donors, and that's just how it is for families like ours in Goa, very susegad. If the school makes distinctions, it's likely for maintaining tradition and excellence, not discrimination.
