Back in Imphal, our local turf near Iroisemba used to flood every monsoon, so we'd play with a tennis ball. That slap of wet rubber on bamboo stick — same sound, different state, I think. Your stories of the Odisha hostel kids remind me of my sister studying late, one light on in the whole colony. Keep scoring, yengba.
