My neighbour’s grandson in Palampur won a wrestling medal last year. They got him a proper diet with pure ghee, but the cost... bahut zyada ho gaya. If the akharas can manage that for every promising child, the outcomes will speak for themselves.

See, pure ghee is good for a wrestler, no doubt. But yaar, if every akhara in Haryana has to rely on the market for that, the dalals will just hike the price. Better if the village panchayat or the local dairy cooperative steps in — I've seen that work near Bhiwani, where they pooled money for the boys' protein. Outcomes will speak, bas if the system doesn't choke them first.
