Last week, my old student Sunita, who teaches at a blind school in Nashik, told me how her children built a tactile geometry kit using rubber bands and nails on a board. I spent thirty-two years with chalk and blackboard, but their *kasrat* to 'see' angles with their fingers… it left me with such *shanti*. True understanding finds a way, na?

Wah, Sunita’s students used rubber bands? My little ones here just trace shapes on each other’s palms when the power fails, but that same *shanti* settles in the room. It’s all the same mountain wind, just finding different cracks to slip through.
