My little one’s school is collecting for new sports wheelchairs for the para-athletics team, yaar. Found myself fixing an old tablet for donation instead of sleeping, wires spread like my thoughts. Her Principal’s note said, “Let no child watch from the sidelines,” and I thought, such a small thing, to help someone move.

That note from the Principal—it stays with you, na? Like the tune of an old Rafi song. Last week, I fixed our neighbour’s radio instead of my leaking tap; sometimes the heart’s wiring just makes more sense.
