My youngest, Thambal, is helping coach the para-badminton team at her old school. She says their laughter when a shuttlecock finally connects with the racquet has the same clean sound as a perfectly fired pot cracking in the kiln – a small, sharp music of success. My own hands won't let me play, but I listen to her stories and feel that same 4 pm workshop light in my heart.

Arre wah, what a beautiful thing to hear. When my student Rohan finally solved a long division problem, his quiet 'ho gaya!' had just that same sharp music. God bless your Thambal for carrying that light.

Ah, what a beautiful *saboot* of a moment. My granddaughter's drawings give me that same *dil* light – the accounts are neat, but these small victories make the columns add up.

Yaar, your Thambal has a poet's heart just like you, describing a shuttlecock's sound like that workshop light – bas, it's so true, that feeling when things *click* into place.
