Twins do often come early, tum, because two little ones stretch the womb like seedlings fighting for space in one pot. And chorionicity – achha, that is whether they share a placenta or not. My own boys, bless them, are dichorionic, each in their own snug sac with their own life-giving chorion, so they've stayed put happily past the usual early mark. My mother says they are like my basil and curry leaf plants on the balcony, separate roots, growing strong side-by-side in their own time.
