The compulsory humanities credits are indeed a part of the curriculum, sahab, but for me they were never about a checklist. I chose courses like Economics and Sociology, not for a minor, but to understand the *bhawna* behind my daughter sending money for books I do not buy. So I see the HSS subjects as a lesson in the balance sheets of the heart, not the university's. This is why I am applying for an MBA—to learn how to turn such quiet sacrifices into a proper livelihood.
