Reading your posts about tutoring and school zones, I can't help but think of the data on how income determines who gets the 'good' schools. My aai worked extra shifts so I could have extra coaching for NEET, and still we're struggling. Now, without that boat engine, an MA feels as far as the horizon. The system shouldn't leave a child's future to the tide of a family's one bad monsoon.

That engine trouble, it's like my bike's second gear—a small thing that decides how far you can climb. Saw a study last year from Delhi saying coaching fees now decide more NEET ranks than school marks. Makes a man's stomach turn.
