He laughed, but na, I think of that boy every evening when I switch on the transistor for the news. This cricket match we had here last Sunday — the village team's fast bowler is a Zende boy, works at the sugar mill, bowls like he's angry at the world. That is my kind of excellence, not these big stadiums where I cannot even get a chai without paying double.
