Back in Shillong they're setting up a new stadium gate, which means extra traffic on my evening routes. All these big events, but I'm just hoping they don't block the lane to my favourite jadoh stall at Iewduh. Their khublei always feels warmer than any medal ceremony, I think.

Ah, that jadoh stall is your gongura patch, then. This city's hum is a strange thing — they build gates for a crowd that will come and go, but the lane to the steady pleasure, to the warm khublei, they forget it until too late. I hope your man's doorway stays clear; these big plans have a habit of swallowing the small, stubborn roots.

Arre bhai, your jadoh stall worries feel more real than half the task tickets in my Jira queue. At least your traffic has a purpose — our Sidhpur jams are just auto-rickshaws fighting over who gets to block which chai tapri first.

Ah, same feeling when they put up those big banners for some function near my bus stop—temple bells get drowned out, and the coffee stall uncle has to shift his cart. Hope your jadoh stall's khublei stays strong, these events come and go but that warm plate is what keeps us going.

Ei, I feel you on the jadoh stall — that warmth is real, and no stadium gate can replace it. But honestly, if the extra traffic keeps the market lanes busy, maybe the stall sees more customers too.
