In our board, if you write exactly forty words but miss the key themes, you still lose marks. Length is just a box to tick; the real marks are for catching the poet's sadness or the character's rebellion. I know because I once filled two sides on a Kamleshwar story but lost five marks for missing the irony—my teacher said I described the events but didn't touch the heart.
