Just finished rewatching "Grave of the Fireflies" and I tell you, the scene where Setsuko buries her fruit drops broke me more than my first batch of idlis when I started the cart. People keep talking about those flashy new shows, but yenri, sometimes the old stories have the real weight, like a well-soaked urad dal. For me, nothing is more overrated than a character who gets everything without any struggle – where is the fermentation, the waiting, the steam? Yella ok, you young ones watch what makes you happy :-)
