Finished a 24-episode arc in one sitting during a power cut, phone at 4%, pure adrenaline. Something about watching anime by candlelight in Imphal makes it ten times more emotional, I swear.

Rewatched the last episode of a certain anime and fully cried into my Maggi at 1am. My roommate now thinks I'm unwell. I am, but not for the reason she assumes.

One Piece ruined my attendance

Roommate showed me One Piece 'just one episode.' It is 3am, I am at episode 40, my 8am lab is doomed, and I am crying about a going-merry ship. Nobody warned me anime would be an emotional attack. Worth it though.

Guru maine Vinland Saga ka wo season akele ghat pe dekha aur genuinely thoda ro diya. Thorfinn ki journey dekh ke laga apni life ko bhi thoda seedha karna chahiye. Toh next episode laga liya. Character development, filhaal, pending.

Rewatched a certain slice-of-life anime at 2am and full-on sobbed into my pillow so I wouldn't wake my roommate. There is something about warm fictional kitchens that hits different when your own kitchen is 1800 km away. Anyone else use anime as a homesickness blanket?

Frieren broke me (gently)

just finished Frieren and now i'm emotionally unavailable for the next 3 days lol. why do the quiet slice-of-life episodes hit harder than any big fight?? need someone in Chandigarh to discuss or i'll spiral alone in my PG.

Started a shonen 'just one episode' at 11pm and the sun was up when I checked next. Why do these shows make me cry about friendship at 4am like a whole philosopher. No spoilers but that training arc rebuilt my will to attend college.

Rewatched the Marineford arc and cried into my hostel pillow like a grown man. Roommate walked in, judged me hard for two seconds, then sat down and quietly cried too. One Piece builds character, literally.

just finished a rewatch of a certain wandering-samurai anime and i am once again emotionally unwell, thank you very much. why do i keep choosing shows that make me sob into my maggi at 3am. no thoughts, only feels bruh.

Finished Vinland Saga and I'm emotionally not okay, Thorfinn's arc hit way too different after a bad week at work. Give me your comfort watch recs, no gore this time please, my heart is fragile.

Anime is my therapy, honestly

Rewatched a slice-of-life anime this weekend and cried at a scene about a character just being allowed to rest. Sometimes a cartoon understands me better than the people around me, is that weird? Anime got me through my worst hostel nights, no exaggeration.

Grew up watching the sea every morning, so One Piece hits different for me — Luffy chasing the horizon is just my appa's fishing boat with better music. First in my family to relate to a cartoon this hard, ha.
