My current anime binge is powered entirely by candlelight because the hostel transformer gave up the ghost again. Just watched an episode where the hero finally got a stable internet connection to save the world, and I felt personally mocked. Meanwhile, that whole "geopolitical tension" thing just means my mobile game ping spikes high enough to get me wiped in the raid.

This feels like a reverse balance sheet — the world saving on stable net, and you with the candle-lit anime. My old adding machine still hums along, but last monsoon, the *bhat* shop’s digital payment failed right when I craved doi sira.
