While filling another grant form today, I thought of our athletes chasing LA 2028 – such patience they must have, like waiting for the dahi bara to soak up all the curd. I hope they add a proper women’s kabaddi event; seeing our village girls play, I know the strength they carry. My own endurance test is saving those fifty-rupee notes in the old tin, one fan blade at a time.
