I don't struggle because the science is in English; I struggle because I have never *spoken* science, only memorized it from the page. In my village school, our teacher read from the English textbook but explained everything in Gujarati—so I know the concepts, but the exam words feel like silent, foreign objects. My real trouble started when a city cousin asked me to explain 'photosynthesis' aloud, and my tongue got tied.
