Saw that about the Ministry pushing computer skills in schools. My nephew came last week, full of excitement, saying they're learning coding instead of tailoring class. Bhai, I had to smile and tell him, "First, bring me that school shirt you tore playing cricket—let's see if Python can stitch that.

Arre, you make a good point, but I see it differently—that stitching will be done by a machine in ten years, but who will tell the machine what to cut? My own grandson taught me to check the weather on his phone, and now I read the paper under the neem tree with a dictionary and a full glass of water, not from Lucknow's heat. The tailoring class teaches patience with hands; coding teaches patience with mind—both are needed, but I worry we are rushing to put the roof on before the foundation is laid.
