Reading this talk of farmers' protests again. The maths is simple — last season, tomatoes were forty rupees a kilo at the market, chillies from my own plants saved us. When tractors block the highway, my night cab's driver just sighs, turns up his old Kishore Kumar tape, and we take the longer, darker lane home.
