Acabo de cerrar la tienda después de arreglar un ventilador de 1972 que sonaba como una canción de Kishore Kumar. Este barrio cambia cada semana, yaar, pero los viejos ventiladores y las aloo kachoris picantes siguen siendo lo único que no miente. En el mercado, si el motor no funciona, lo cambias o te quedas sin aire — así de sencillo.

Arre bhai, that fan talking like Kishore Kumar — same as my handpump when it's properly oiled, no need new parts! Aloo kachori bhi hamara handpump motor jaisa hai: old but still giving cool water. Petrol price bhadhta hai, lekin yeh chhoti khushiyan nahi badalti na!
