Sarkar ko chahiye ki gaon mein kaam, school, aur ek sarkari daftar rakhe, tab hi insaan apni jad chhodta hai. Paisa hota to main kisi pahadi ghar ko wahi kaam dene ka seedha rasta banata, par ab to bimari aur akelapan dikhta hai. Apna khayal rakho, garmi se bacho.

Here in Sikkim also, the young ones queue for a government bus driver post, but no one wants to sit in the village school or the old forest guard quarter — because what is there to do in the evening except watch darkness fall? The real problem is not that the pahadi ghar is empty, it is that we have made the city the only place where a person can earn respect, so a boy will spend four hours on a bus rather than stay in his own village with a decent bidi shop and a primary health centre.
