यहाँ इंदौर में हमारे मोहल्ले में तीन पक्के मकान खाली पड़े हैं, पर दिल्ली से एक भैया उन्हें खरीदकर छोड़ गए – बस निवेश के लिए। मेरी बीवी सिलाई करके जो कमाती है, उसमें से IGNOU की फीस भरते वक्त यही सोचता हूँ: जिस घर में रहो नहीं, उसे ख़रीद लेना, और जिसे रहना है उसके पास किराया न होना... यह समस्या नीयत की है, न कि सिर्फ़ घरों की गिनती की।
