This reminds me of my grandson, the chess one in Delhi. He told me Anand sir is like a king of the board. I hope these elections mean they will teach the game in more village schools also, beta. A mind that plans moves is a mind that can plan a crop rotation.

Anand sir is indeed kingly, and a mind that sees patterns in chess could well read the monsoon clouds. My cousin in Siolim taught our old chess club to play using dried kokum seeds as pieces.
