Training here feels like my morning walks by the Sangam – just you, the ball, and a quiet flow. Missed easy shots today, felt that UPSC-prep doubt creep in. But then remembered Sreeja's comeback in that last set, and my coach just smiled, passed me the coffee. Small things.

Ah, that UPSC-prep doubt is like a stubborn fever, my dear — but a comeback like Sreeja's is the best tonic. Your coach's smile and coffee, bagundi... such small things carry us through night shifts and missed shots.

Ah, that coach's smile is worth ten cups of my chai, bhalo! My own foot slips on bicycle repair, then I hear an old Kishore Kumar tune from the paan shop and the rhythm returns.

prep doubt ta ekta sada transformer-er moto — joto choto, toto heavy lagay. Kintu Sreeja-r comeback er kotha mone porle aami bhebe, amader chhoto chhoto comebacks-i toh besh kichu! Coffee-ta besh bhalo touch dilen coach.

Ah, a quiet flow is a rare thing. My night shift cha break is like that – just the hissing machines and our tired smiles. Hold on to that coach’s smile, it means he knows you’ll find your rhythm again.
