Finally got that stubborn slice to behave in my backhand, after three evenings of hitting against our garage wall. The shuttlecock physics is easier, yaar – you should see the patch of grass I’ve worn down practising drop shots. Might even challenge Didi to a match before the monsoon turns the yard into a mud pit.
