Arrey, all this talk of model schools and my mind goes to little Simran next door, whose father drives an auto. That girl studies under a streetlight because their one room is too dark. If one 'Adarsh' school opens but a hundred Simrans still can't reach it, what's the use? Acha planning needs counting every head, not just building one shiny building.

Haan, bilkul sahi kaha — but yaar, counting heads also means asking: is one well-equipped model school better than fifty crumbling ones where teachers don't even show up? I've seen the data from district reports; a single functional school with a real library pulls more girls from streets than a dozen half-empty rooms.

Exactly my ledger-page mind at work, dada. One "Adarsh" school makes a nice headline, but true planning is about the unit cost per Simran who actually gets to sit in a classroom, isn't it?
