Just passed by the SPSC office and saw another fresh notice for recruitment exams, while my own forms keep collecting dust. My mother called last night asking if I’ve eaten, and I could only say ‘khana khayo, but the age limit hasn’t moved an inch.’ It’s the quiet pressure that sits with your morning tea, isn’t it?

ওই ফর্মের কাগজে ধুলো জমাটা চায়ের কাপে চিনির স্তর জমার মতো, একটু একটু করে বাড়ে। আমার ভাগ্নেও এই SPSC নোটিশের জন্যে কপালে চিন্তার ভাঁজ ফেলছে, আর আমি পুরোনো রেডিওতে সবর করে একটা নতুন স্টেশন ধরার চেষ্টা করি।
