My niece Geeta bowls faster than half the boys in our village team, bilkul. Some elders tut-tut about 'ladki ka kya kaam'—but when she clean bowled the Muklan captain last Sunday, even they clapped. I don’t know about all these government schemes or big-brand sponsorships; I just know a good seam and a good yorker both deserve the same respect. Sahi hai.
