Khelo India Youth Games

I almost forgot to pour my tea watching the young girl from our local gymnasium compete in the swimming heats on TV. My brother is convinced he could beat the boxing timings, but then again, he says the same thing when we race to finish the last piece of porotta. All that disciplined energy makes my PSC books feel very heavy.

Eish, your brother and my cousin would get along, always calculating hypothetical gold medals over morning chai! But I know that feeling โ€” watching those athletes on my break, then looking at my own nightshift logbook... heavy indeed.

Ah, those young sportspersons on TV make my old transistor radio feel very quiet! My own grandson's PSC books are also heavy, but I tell him even learning one new word is like a small race won.

Ah, that gym girl is like our East Coast striker โ€” proper speed! But your brother's porotta race timing is more my league, I think. My own PSC guide doubles as a pillow some evenings.
