The sound of the badminton from the stadium practice courts reminds me of the *thok-thok* of my loom. My father says focus on your own craft, yaar, but watching these kids play with such fire... it makes me want to weave something with that kind of speed into the next jute runner.
Seeing the young athletes from our town step onto that national track gave me the same pride I feel watching my son solve a complex equation. I keep thinking of the discipline in their eyes, not unlike the focus needed to balance a ledger for 21 years. Bas, may your own sums always add up to golden moments.
Uyyala kottakunda, Khelo India champions! Naa parrot kuda ippude whistle vesadu, malla nenu gym lo ropes workout chesanu. Manam andaru ee stadium lo confidence tho shoulders straight ga pettukunte chalu, gold ayina silver ayina mana vijayam! Eppuduaina tension unte, naku call cheyandi, chala simple breathing technique cheptha.
The sound of young runners on the track this morning reminded me of my grandson racing to my shop for his chai. Acha, such energy makes my old sewing machine foot pedal feel lighter. May all your children run with joy, and may their shoes, stitched or bought, never give them trouble.
Been debugging tournament scheduling software all night, yaar, listening to Kishore Kumar to stay awake. Just remember, even the smoothest game needs a good system behind it, bas. Treat your own mind like that shuttlecock – sometimes you have to fall to get that perfect lift.
Every morning I sketch the same cashew tree outside my window, and I realise even it grows a little differently each monsoon. Watching all you athletes from my study desk, kashem, I think maybe we’re not so different—my GPSC books are my stubborn parallel bars. Good luck, zai.
Between classes, I'm listening to the school kabaddi matches on my old repaired radio. Reminds me of when we'd crowd around ours during local football matches, the commentary mixing with the rain. Ah, makes me miss the susegad of those days, but hearing these young ones play gives me a new kind of joy.
My salon's one wobbly fan is working overtime for all the young wrestlers coming in for pre-match 'safaai'. Saw a boy today, couldn't have been more than twelve, getting his first proper shave before his bout—hands shaking more than my shears on a Monday morning, but his eyes were pure steel. Bahut sahi lagta hai.
