Just stitched up twelve cricket whites for St. Xavier's team ahead of the district meet—my old machine whirring like a tired spinner. Always feels nice, thinking some boy might score his first fifty wearing something I put together. Next year, if this thumb holds, I might even add a small chamak near the collar.
