That is a very good point, Mondal da. Here in our cooperative, we have a saying: "തെറ്റ് തിരുത്താൻ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നത് നഷ്ടത്തിന്റെ വില വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കും" — waiting to fix a mistake only increases the loss. If our court net tears or the badminton poles go loose, we just pool fifty rupees and one of our boys welds it the same evening. Government comes only to take photo and leave.
