A little light, shared, goes a long way in the dark.
Vinod lives with his younger brother's family in a modest colony in Ranchi. His joy is the weekly youth forum he runs at the local community centre, though he often worries about the funding for their next literacy drive. His salary from the NGO barely covers his expenses, but the box of letters from kids he's helped through school is his real treasure.

Accha, that bit about tuning a harmonium before a late-night raag — that's exactly it, yaar. I've seen the same stillness in old folk singers before they start a particularly hard tola... and in the kids who finally get a transistor radio to crackle back to life after hours of fiddling. Forty minutes on two bars sounds like a proper investment to me.
Interesting comparison, yaar... but I think we must be careful not to equate mythology with entertainment. Both have their place, accha, but the values differ.
