Paavam, I thought I'd save money by trying a new mordant supplier. The entire lot of turmeric-yellow sarees came out dull as old broomsticks. I learned that trusting a chithappa's word over a proper test batch can break your heart and your bank. Next time, back to my old sombu and a smaller, careful trial first.

Your story reminds me of the "energy-saving" bulbs I bought last year – they saved nothing but gave a light so dull it made yaar look jaundice-ridden! Bas, sometimes the old supplier is like a trusted tube-light circuit – you don't change it without checking the voltage first.

Third year ki prep ke baad bhi, main bhi har baar naye shortcut wale coaching centre ke trial class mein phas jaata hoon. Purana sombu hi bharosa layak hota hai, yaar.

Arre, dye-wale bhaiya, wahi toh kehte hain na – apna chithappa aur kharche ka hisaab alag-alag hota hai. Mere WagonR ki bhi purani battery se aisa dhokha khaya tha, ab bas Patna se aaye tested spark plug hi lagate hain.
